Prior experience in a luxury hotel or private club preferred.Minimum of 3 years venue or hospitality experience, specifically banquet/catering, food service and/or event experience.Demonstrate the highest level of customer service to internal and external costumers using verbal and written communication skills.Maintain a professional work environment and project a favorable image of the company to the public.Identify challenges, propose solutions, and facilitate resolution.Manage event staff, including recruiting, training, coaching, scheduling, and disciplinary action as needed to create an exceptional team.Cleaning and storing all equipment in a secure manner and communicating any maintenance issues to the management including banquet equipment repair or safety issues. Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space, public areas, and service areas and maintain strict control over all company owned equipment.for each event, and ensure documents are shared to departments and staff accordingly. Develop and continually update BEOs (Banquet Event Orders), ts, equipment lists, timelines, staff schedules, pull lists, etc.Act as the on-site point of contact to manage and oversee vendors and communicate with clients during the planning and execution of events at Moonlight Basin.Execute banquet and catering functions as directed according to Banquet Event t documents.The Catering and Events Manager is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, while striving for the highest of standards to provide members and their family and guests with a memorable experience. Where applicable, this role will also involve the management and active coaching of assigned F&B associates. Key job duties include managing the daily operations of the catering and events department, in conjunction with the broader food and beverage department. The Catering and Events Manager will be responsible for delivering the member and guest experience from event planning, to handling guest/ member requirements during meetings, private dinners, and special events, to post-event follow-up with guests/members.
